Defend The Kingdom is back with another tournament. This time, we are partnering up with a previous co-host, Fractal! 

We are partnering up with Fractal and with a slew of rewards for our prize pool!

So, grind up and get ready to fight for the top spot. Are you ready to be crowned the new Defend The Kingdom Champion?

Keynote
There will be NO SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE during this period. The GEMs tournament will end at March 8 2PM GMT+8 and The new tournament will start at March 8 6PM GMT+8. No trophies can be gained during this period.

Character Changes

Aegis, Snap Trap and Tripwire
-> Optimization made to make gameplay more fluid and less stressful on devices. There is a maximum amount that can be placed on the field. Damage values stays the same.

Stagger
-> Reduced the Armor Reduction base value to 15% => 6%

Hoarder
-> Reduced the SP Damage base value to 10% => 5%

Azero
-> Reduced the Slow effect base value to 3.5% => 1.5%

Kairos
-> Reduced the Attack Speed Buff-/+ base value to 30% => 10%,
          ->Class up and power up also reduce to 3% => 1% 

System Changes

Online Matches with Omen has been fixed
-> Sometimes, Omen would not work as intended when playing with another person. We've encountered and fixed this bug.

Critical damage fixed
-> When changing your party, there were issues with the critical damage % not showing the right number. This has been fixed and is working as intended.

Content Adjustments

Spellbook prices
-> Spellbook prices have dropped from 1000 Gems to 800 Gems

Tutorial rewards
-> Increased from 3000 Gems to 6000 Gems

COOP Tickets
-> Increased from 5 Tickets to 10 Tickets

CRUCIAL BUG FIX

There's a bug in our public coop matchmaking which disconnects users. We've addressed this bug but also have allowed users to participate with the private match for the tournament.

Welcome to the mid tournemanet patch where we address new things like the COOP tournament and also some changes that has to be made for a fair and competitve atmosphere. So, let's just get straight into it!

COOP TOURNAMENT

We are now hosting a second tournament for the COOP mode and boosting an additional of 3000USDC into the prize pool!

The Kingdomverse Team thanks all our players for joining the tournament and grinding with us!

So what's in it for you guys?

Top 100 on the COOP leaderboard will share a prize pool of 3000USDC.

The COOP leaderboard will reset before the tournament starts.

All your rankings on the leaderboard will be accounted for winnings

Quick match and Private rooms are allowed. 

PVP tournament participants are eligible for Coop tournament.

COOP winners will be contact by the staff AFTER THE TOURNAMENT.

Defend The Kingdom x Fractal Patch

Welcome to the Fractal x Kingdomverse tournament! We got some new updates for you, so please feel free to read through the patch notes to understand what’s new. (If you’re looking to get the top spot then here’s your chance)

Fractal Tournament

Welcome to the Fractal tournament! We've got a lot of changes going around and the most important thing is that we have a tournament going on right now!

In order to participate, you'll need to create a FRACTAL WALLET. Not sure how? Check out our twitter for more instructions!

System and Name Changes

Now with the new patch, we’re making a new identity for our beloved units. (and bosses too. They need some loving). All of them will be having a new name change but they won’t be having an identity crisis from it. They’ll all be operating the same way as they would be with some slight design changes here and there. I'm pretty sure you'll see a difference once you get into the game ;) 

ALL HEROES ATTACK SPEED AND DAMAGE ADJUSTED

As we move into further development, we noticed that most games end quite. While the damage level for some of the heroes are relatively high, we want to increase the chance of succeeding in terms of clearing waves and having longer games. (Don't just rely on one hero now 👀)

Text description for heroes have also been adjusted to their new names and also edited to have a better clearer understanding of what their abilities do. 

NEW GAME SYSTEM ADDED

Entering this new patch, we figured that we needed to spice up the game a bit. We will be adding an Individual Unit System , IV for short,  for ALL heroes available in the game. 

Every hero you collect will have an individual stat for their own stats. For example, a character that you summoned will have different stats to another of the same character that you just received in another summon.

In the game, you'll see differences like this with new summons that you get. Ember 1 has a lower attack damage but better attack speed (lower attack speed number is better BTW!) and better fire damage.  

So, it's up to you to decide what's the best fit in your team with the high amount of customization that you can create with this new system! 

CHARACTER DESIGN CHANGES

We've seen all the hero designs in the game. But what if we told you that some of them have a variant color now? Yeah, that's right! Some of the heroes will have different unique color palette that you can get by summoning! We're calling them SHINY and they've got a different Shiny Variants. 

Here's a small example

The heroes that will have new color palettes are Guardian, Blizzard, Clone, Evolve, Dark Angel, Orbital, Wizard, Combo, Thor, Athena.

Oh and they may also get a pulsing effect too. (This one is more rare to get. You can also get a Shiny + Pulsing effect to make your character even rarer!)

Summoning Changes

As mentioned earlier, the summoning system will be changed.

- Base Heroes | These units are what you can use in the game. These base heroes will have the IV system that was mentioned earlier

- Copies Heroes | These copies are what is used to level up your heroes in the hero tabs. Collect enough heroes in order to level them up through gold earned in game.

Smaller Game Changes

- New in-game lobby changes
- Event Tab Updated
- Optimization Fixes for IOS phones.
- Minor Bug Fixes
